Still Life

For my Dazed and Confused still life shoot I have had to do further research into other magazines similar to Dazed as they don't really ever shoot still life so I have struggled to find inspiration and a good example as to what would fit in with the magazine's ethos and style. But I have found a shoot in 'Another' magazine that I love purely because of the minimalistic and graphic style that they have used.

Trend Analysis

I have again been scanning through the fashion weeks and these are just a few of the trends that I think are prominent and will be continuously copied on the high street. I have also included this as I found it very difficult to choose one particular favourite trend for my dazed and confused editorial as this has been one of my favourite seasons for fashion ever!

Black Texture Invasion

After religiously following all the fashion weeks, I was very excited to see there is ALOT of black fur, leather, matt, shiny, jersey everywhere!! and in most cases all put on together which I absolutely adore..my favourite trend from A/W 12-13 I love the idea of wearing long black leather gloves under a black jersey dress with some fur thrown on top..my idea of heaven!
For my editorial piece for Dazed and Confused I will use this trend as my feature, I think the grungy-chic look will fit in comfortably with the rest of the magazine!
