For my Dazed and Confused style article I will be writing about the Transformation and Revelation: Gormley to Gaga UK design for performance 2007-2011 exhibition which is showing at at the V&A from the 17th March to 30th September. I think it will be a really interesting exhibition and I will be using the title 'Transformation and Revelation as the theme for my magazine.
"Exploring the theme of transformation, this display will reveal contemporary designs for performance by over 30 British Theatre Designers. It will provide an intriguing insight into the designers’ creative process and will include costumes, set models, photographs, drawings, sound productions and lighting designs. Designs include Sutra by Antony Gormley, War Horse by Rae Smith and Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball Tour by Es Devlin."

Alexander McQueen A/W 12, menswear was styled by Robbie Spencer and womenswear by Camilla Nickerson, the pair together giving the collection of army surplus gear a gothic mood. I adore the heavyweight coats that the men are wearing and love the idea of mixing lace with leather. The hair and make-up is gorgeous, the styling of hair, make up and clothes is absolutely immaculate....a definite favourite from London Fashion Week!

For a current uni assignment I have to create a front cover, editorial spread, still life and write an article for a magazine. I have chosen Dazed and Confused as I usually go towards the clean cut, high fashion style in magazines's like Vogue, Elle, Tatler..so I thought I would be a bit adventurous and go for a slightly edgy magazine. Im gonna upload idea on here and use my blog as a digital sketch book, this will be an interesting and very stressful few months! One of my most recent uni projects was to explore the differences in beauty advertising campaigns and beauty editorial shoots. I had to create a beauty advertisement and and an editorial shoot and these where the results. I got my grade for this project today, a 2:1..not bad for a first try, aiming for a first next time!
